ditzy Purple beans turn green when you cook them.
And they were oh-so-delicious steamed, then tossed in olive oil with some fresh mushrooms and garlic, finished off with some fresh lemon juice. I ate a whole plateful, but I still have leftovers. I wonder if they will be any good cold? Maybe I'll take them to work for lunch tomorrow.
Nothing much else today. Hot. Humid. Looking to get worse.
I think I may have met someone interesting through Yahoo personals. Not saying any more right now, but we'll see! *small squee*

it read 103 degrees in downtown Denver today. ack. (and we've had a little more humidity than usual...ugh.)
